How Does It Work

STEP ONE

The soiled / odorous footwear is placed inside the bag and closed using a drawstring mechanism. The bag has a spring toggle at either side of the opening which keeps the bag closed and the footwear secure inside the bag.

STEP TWO

The bag is then put in the washing machine and on a 40 degree or below wash cycle, using a regular detergent. To balance the weight out of the washing machine drum, we recommend using a towel while using the Treadi bag. Fabric softener cannot be used as it is not compatible for use with microfiber.

STEP THREE

Once the cycle is finished, the bag is then removed from the washing machine and opened to remove the clean footwear.

STEP FOUR

The footwear should come out and be left to air-dry at room temperature or outside on a dry day. (Microfiber is super absorbent so the footwear comes out damp/wet but not soaking.)
