Does the bag need to be washed on its own?
Treadi is to be placed in the drum alongside a large bath towel to ensure the best spin cycle possible.
Does Treadi protect my washing machine from being damaged?
Treadi has been carefully designed to ensure maximum protection for your washing machine unlike other methods such as a normal pillow case.
Does Treadi get rid of odours and bad smells?
Treadi is a preventative product and if used regularly, it can help prevent odours and bad smells.
Do the laces need to be removed from footwear products before being washed in the bag?
This is self preference, but we would advise that the laces are taken out for better results.
Does the bag need to be sealed/pulled closed before it goes into the machine?
The bag has a self tie function and the plastic spacer should always be pulled tight to prevent any items falling out mid wash.
Can Treadi be placed into a dryer?
Treadi is best left to dry naturally as any other item of clothing. We do not advise for the bag to be dried in a machine.
What detergent should I use when washing items with Treadi?
Washing tablets or natural detergent work best with Treadi. Fabric softener is not advised while using Treadi.
How many items can I wash in Treadi at once?
Footwear: we advise one item per wash. With clothing and other delicate items: we advise a maximum of 2 i.e. t-shirts, blouses.
Can I wash hand-wash only items in Treadi?
During the research and development stage, there were no recorded issues with delicate items being washed. We would advise customers to use their own judgement when washing these items as Treadi can not be accountable for every item due to the bag's multi-purpose option.
Why should i use Treadi?
Also prevents banging and clanging whilst footwear is on the wash cycle.
