Numbers are tricky. I burned 221 calories today which was my most recent low weight. Why was I up a pound? Well it was a runless weekend and I ate freely and drank some sugar pop while out to eat. Hopefully, I will just use it as a motivator this week.
As for my short Sunday night run, I would have liked to run longer but I have some work duties in the morning. One more note on longer / slower runs. They seem to be lower impact which keeps recovery time down and specifically aching muscles away. None the less, I ran pretty fast and short tonight. I hope to go slow and low (like bbq smoking) tomorrow night.
