It was a fast run tonight so I watched a little bit of The Greatest Catch or The Most Dangerous Catch. I don’t really recall the name, but that show takes my mind on some grand maritime fantasies. I like fishing, but I am not sure if I would make the cut on that type of fishing.

My weight is down. Go figure. I am not even going to try and explain that one. I am still feeling good and on a nice daily workout routine. Let’s see if I can keep that up. Fat chance!

PS. Do you think I should have used maritime or nautical? I love words like that.

Well as you can tell I am up a few pounds. I actually feel great, am still working out more than ever, and my fish diet is in check. Lightly Parmesan Crusted anything is pretty good broiled. I have actually been hiding from my blog a little because I just don’t know why my weight is up. I am feeling a little more muscular, but I am not sure 2 or 3 pounds more. Who knows.

Anyways, I have some back-posts to do to account for some soccer games that were really tough workouts. In an effort to build a little for soccer, I ran some sprint to walk sprint to walk intervals. I received some advice that this might also trigger my metabolism a little. Who knows…who cares. I am feeling good.

Peace.

The second game was indoor soccer and it really gave me a burn. I actually took a warm bath between games because it seemed to feel right. I felt pretty good, but definitely had some soreness in my future.

One thing to note, all this running (and not losing weight) really has my joints feeling strong. I have sprained an ankle and strained a knee in the past.

The run felt good, the movie was pretty bad. It was actually an AMC movie. I had high hopes because Godfather 1 and 2 were on before. I was thinking, what an AMC night.

One funny thing I did notice was these ridiculous commercials about this ExtenZe product. These commercials make claims to making your willy bigger while making your love life more exciting. The worst of all was the low rate adult stars they have pushing this product. This kind of crap on TV is going to make me cancel my cable and just stick with the 3 N’s of entertainment. Netflix, Network Television, and the Net!

And Wild Bill was still a bad movie!

I feel like quitting this darn program. The Drop be damned. I feel like a fake. I feel like a fraud. My weight is going nowhere. I am fit. I have all but cut out sugar pop. I love my movie runs. My weight is staying the same.

On my run today I watched In the Bedroom. It was what I call a 4 star drama with a both serious and cute Marisa Tomei. The movie was perfect for another successful movie run.

However, if you peak at my stats I have had no change in a while…even after getting sick. I am straight frustrated and my pants are not getting any looser. Think of a blow fish getting bigger while getting madder at the same time.

In addition to adding a crunch routine, I am going to do something I always said I would do. You see, I love fish (and I love to fish). But I just don’t know how to cook fish properly. I am going to go to the store and talk to the person behind the fish counter to get some fish cooking tips. I am going to research some simple fish recipes online. I am going to be a great cooker of fish!

We can discuss the benefits of fish in a diet later. For now I am asking for some simple recipes to cook fish properly. I plan to start cooking in the oven because it will provide the best temperature control. I am also going to buy all the fish spices necessary. I will buy any type of fish at any cost. Go ahead and leave me a fish recipe Mr. or Mrs. Fish Eater…I sure need it!

I was feeling pretty sick which is rare because I have the best immune system I have ever seen. I just don’t get sick that often. Anyways, it was nice to sweat a little and it made me feel better. My weight must be really firm because even though I was sick and ate like a bird, I still maintained 222. As an effort to reduce my waist line (if I am not going to lose weight), I am going to start doing some crunches and bicycle exercises to supplement my running. Nothing big…I just want to work a little from the inside out.

I had the sweetest set up for my run tonight. I had my Netflix account ready, my big screen projector and a pretty cool documentary called King of Kong. It was about video games…old school video games to be exact. To be even more exact it was about the World Champion of Donkey Kong Steve Weibe.

One cool thing to note when streaming my Netflix from my laptop to a projector. Naturally, the sound on my cheap laptop is not strong enough for movie quality listening. I solved this by running a speaker wire form my laptop headphone jack right into the receiving / female speaker jack on my treadi. I just used an old wire from some computer speakers. It actually worked great and promoted a long and enjoyable run was movie long!

I play soccer tomorrow outside. I have not decided if I will try to get a run on top of that.
